“The privilege of a lifetime to become who you truly are.”

-Carl Jung-

There may be more of you waiting to be known

The feelings that contradict each other. The questions you are not sure how to ask. The things you think you should be over by now. The parts of yourself you have learned to doubt, hide, or understand through someone else’s eyes.

Therapy can be a place to bring all of that into the room without needing to know what it means yet. Together, we can slow down, listen closely, and begin to understand what your experience has been asking you to notice.

I believe some of the most meaningful moments in therapy happen when we can be curious about the parts of ourselves we have learned to hide, minimize, or judge. I bring warmth, curiosity, and genuine engagement into the room, and I hope to create a relationship where you can feel increasingly free to show up as yourself.

I’m especially interested in the complicated and sometimes contradictory parts of being human. The places where you can want something and fear it, love someone and feel angry with them, or know something about yourself without quite knowing what to do with it yet. I believe there is value in slowing down enough to understand these parts of ourselves rather than rushing to change or explain them away.

Hi! I’m Nikki.

Looking Beneath the Surface

I practice relational psychodynamic therapy, an approach that looks beyond symptoms to understand the deeper emotional and relational patterns shaping your life. Rather than simply asking how to stop a pattern, we become curious about why it developed, what it may have protected you from, and why it can feel so difficult to change.

Our relationship becomes part of that work. Together, we can notice patterns as they emerge, make sense of experiences that may have been difficult to understand on your own, and create space for new ways of relating to yourself and others.

My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and welcomes people of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, abilities, immigration statuses, religious backgrounds, and spiritual beliefs. All parts of your identity and experience can have a place in our work together.

There is room for all of who you are

You don’t have to know exactly where this will lead to begin

Maybe you know what you want to change, or maybe you only know that something no longer feels right. Either is enough of a place to start.

If you’re curious about working together, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. We can talk about what brings you here, what you’re looking for, and whether working together feels like the right fit.
